This is a review for Gears Of War, JUST multiplayer! Anyways, here's my review!
Gears of War-
The Gears fighting Locust Review time.
The game called "Gears of War" for the Xbox 360 is a 2006 double award winner game. This game has great multiplayer maps and cool guns to use. First off, the game has 10 different weapons, I'll explain the first 4 starter weapons you get-
Lancer- The assault rifle in the game, default when you start. It has a chainsaw for close range doing a OHKO (One Hit Knock Out) on players, the bullets a also good too. They can use 3/4 of it's bullets on a player and down them, the rest can kill him with 4-5 more shots on his body, maybe less.
Shotgun- This gun is the most used in medium/close range, it shoots 6 bullets per shot. If all bullets hit the person, all 6, it's a OHKO. This gun can get headshots pretty often due to many bullets, it can also active reload FAST. Using this weapon in close range is a good thing, it can also knock Chainsaws pretty fast, a good close weapon.
Pistol- This is the one-handed handgun. It's alot powerful then the lancer, I won't lie to that, BUT this gun is hard to use, it take 8 shots (it shoots hell fast) to knock the player out and you kill him the rest, the problem is, shotguns can get them but shooting and hiding, The Pistol reloads OK. This is what I concluded after playing 20 Game matches with the pistol.
Pistol > Shotgun - Pistol < Lancer - Pistol = Pistol - Pistol > Frag Gernade - Pistol < Boom Shot - Pistol > Sniper (Close range) - Pistol < Sniper (Far/medium range) Pistol > Smoke Gernade - Pistol < Torck Bow - Pistol > Burok Pistol
Smoke Gernade- This gernade is just for stopping people from seeing, good for rushes and you don't want your enemy to see you sneaking upon them. It can't really do much other than that.
The maps are well made, I love Gridlock on the game, #1 map in my eyes. The maps are pretty well decent in my opinion, they offer balance, and same with the weapon spots.
I'll rate this game in multiplayer by 8.9/10 . The game is really good, but needs some tweaks. I hope this helps.
